Deathmatch mode

All games of the franchise have a multiplayer mode, focused on a fast-paced cat-and-mouse game. During each round (up to a total of ten), Lenin must eliminate the enemies (human soldiers) before they do a certain damage, and the one with the highest score wins at the end.

As a human combatant, on the other hand, the player must do a certain amount of damage to the monitor lizard (or otherwise defeat him) in order to win the round.

Given the context, the mini-game is set in cities such as Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo (mostly destroyed during the war).

As explained, the player can take control of Lenin or a human soldier.

As the victory condition is fulfilled, all characters are recovered from damage and transported to the next round.

At the end of each round, the winner awards points according to the following equation:

(1800 seconds - time elapsed) x 500 points

At the end of ten rounds, the one with the highest score is the winner.

Given the context, the mini-game is focused on the most brutal aspects of game mechanics, namely the Weapon Break maneuvers, the rules of massive damage rules and the one-hit kills.

While human soldiers have such weaknesses and can easily get killed as a result of a single hit, the giant lizard is defeated only under the specified conditions.

The multiplayer mode was first inspired by Syphon Filter 2, as well as Syphon Filter 3 and games alike, in which the players face much of a challenge.
