Randomness of Doom

The random number generator (RNG for short) is intended to make the game mechanics even more brutal.

As most of Lenin's victims are vulnerable to one-hit kills, any damage has a significant chance of getting them obliterated (even if they don't take massive damage).

How does it work?

The random number generator rolls a number from 1 to 100, comparing it to the threshold (equal to the amount of damage per hit), with a number equal to or less than the threshold causing the victim to die accordingly.

For example, the Smart Dragon assault cannon does 50 points of damage per shot, thus the threshold equals 50. Each time a victim takes damage from such a weapon, the RNG rolls 1d100 to determine if one-hit kill occurs.

However, a critical hit doubles the threshold as expected to do, giving the victim a (gruesome) death animation according to the damage taken.

Obviously, the rules don't work the other way around, thus the albino Komodo dragon is given the upper hand.

As with this scene from Rambo 4, most of Lenin's victims are sure to get themselves one-hit killed (always in a gruesome manner).
