Reptilian Troopers and warriors alike

Any similarity to the Stormtroopers or Clonetroopers from Star Wars is absolutely coincidental.

Reptilian Troopers are among the most versatile Reptilian warriors, because they use a large variety of firearms as well as samurai swords.

The most common Reptilian Troopers are medium-sized lizards such as iguanas and agamids. 

They use standard weapons such as Smart Dragon assault cannons and samurai swords.

Other firearms include the .500 S&W Magnum, as well as the Franchi SPAS 12.

 

When acting as snipers, they always use sniper rifles such as Barrett Light Fifty and heavier variants (even more powerful), intended to destroy their victims far beyond recognition. 

There are many categories of Reptilian Troopers, as demonstrated by the Goanna Troopers and Crocodilian Marines.

Outfitted for field operations, the standard Reptilian Troopers are the most common in their ranks.

Equipped with samurai swords (namely dotanuki and o-wakizashi), they are also equipped with Smart Dragon assault cannons (mostly UGL).

Reptilian Heavy Troopers are specialized in heavy weaponry. Apart from the standard weapons they use Gatling cannons (portable variants of GAU-8 Avenger), missile launchers and other large-to-enormous firearms. 

Similar to the Reptilian Heavy Troopers, the Shock Troopers are specialized in heavy weaponry and close-quarters combat.

Seemingly inspired by J.J. from Resident Evil 4, both Heavy Troopers and Shock Troopers often use Gatling Guns (far more powerful than the M134).

Assassin Troopers are elite Reptilian Troopers, predominantly small and medium-sized lizards. 

They are perfectly suited for elimination, sabotage, demolition, and other special operations. 

Additionally, each Assassin Trooper is an extremely skilled pilot. 

Because of their proficiency, many Assassin Troopers act as snipers, using sniper cannons (most commonly .50 BMG, 20x102mm or 25x137mm) as primary weapons.

Goanna Troopers are an elite troop of goannas (monitor lizards native to Australia and New Guinea), actually a special team of Reptilian Shock Troopers.  

The fearsome Crocodilian Marines is an elite troop of alligators, caimans and crocodiles.

They are organized into several companies, which answer directly to Reptilian High Command. 

Each company is given the primary responsibility of security in their designated areas.

Not surprisingly, they are even more fearsome than Lenin himself.

Notes:

• Reptilian Troopers were loosely inspired by the Clonetroopers and Stormtroopers, having been further inspired by the ancient ashigaru and samurai warriors.
• They were also inspired by the Spetsnaz, the Special Purpose Military Units from Russia, as well as many other Special Forces worldwide.
• Reptilian Heavy Troopers are mostly stout-bodied, large-to-enormous lizards and crocodilians, amusingly famous for their fat jokes (they often describe themselves as acrofatics).
• In many games set during the Lizardmageddon, they happen to be bosses in mook clothing, smash mooks or, even worse, instakill mooks (courtesy of the game mechanics).
• They often mock the Mobile Infantry from Starship Troopers, as well as the Colonial Marines from Aliens.
