Lenin's firearms

The so-called Smart Dragon assault rifle (or assault cannon) is the standard firearm of the Reptilian Troopers and warriors alike.

Whereas the Smart Dragon I is chambered for .50BMG (12.7x99mm) ammunition, type II is chambered for 20x102mm, type III is chambered for 25x137mm, and the Master Dragon is chambered for 30x173mm, in contrast to any conventional assault rifles.

All variants share the same bullpup design, in which the magazine is placed behind the trigger, firing 1000 rounds per minute in the primary function.

Furthermore, all models feature a follow lock-on mechanism, which is capable of tracking their targets (no matter how far they may stray from the crosshairs).

Many assault cannons are equipped with underbarrel grenade launchers (UGL) or underbarrel rocket launchers (URL).

Curiously or not, the design of Lenin's assault cannons was inspired by the K7 Avenger (below), one of the most famous weapons from Perfect Dark.

The assault cannons were further influenced by the M56 SmartGun, one of the iconic weapons from Aliens (1986).
